Find your perfect pieces now

For too long, sourcing the perfect hardwood has come with its share of frustrations. Whether it's the uncertainty of what each board in a cubic metre order will actually look like, the hidden wastage costs potentially built into lump sum quotes, or the time spent machining down oversized boards, these challenges can impact both your projects and your profitability.

At Timbersource, based in Waterlip, we're constantly looking for ways to empower our customers with better solutions. That’s why we're thrilled to announce the launch of our innovative new online tool, giving you direct access to detailed data on our extensive, QR-code tracked hardwood stock!

Moving Beyond Traditional Timber Hurdles

We understand the pain points:

  • The Cubic Metre Gamble: Will every board meet your specific grade and dimensional needs?
  • Lump Sum Surprises: Are you paying for more timber than your project strictly requires due to built-in waste allowances?
  • Excessive Machining: Is valuable workshop time lost cutting standard sizes down to your exact specifications?

Our new online tool is designed to tackle these issues head-on by providing unprecedented transparency into our inventory.

Introducing Data-Driven Timber Selection

This isn't just another way to browse; it's a way to intelligently identify and specify your timber needs with precision. Here’s what our new online stock tool will allow you to do:

  • Filter Our Live Inventory by Data: Search our comprehensive database by species, grade, exact thickness, width, and length. Pinpoint the boards that match your precise requirements from our Waterlip yard.
  • Identify Specific, Unique Boards: Each relevant board in our system can be identified by its unique characteristics and data, allowing you to specify particular items from our stock list.
  • Massively Reduce Waste & Control Costs: By finding and specifying boards that are already close to your final dimensions, you can drastically cut down on offcuts and the associated material costs. This is a direct saving for your business.
  • Gain Clarity & Avoid Uncertainty: Know the exact grade and dimensions of the boards you're interested in, taking the guesswork out of your orders and helping you avoid the "pot luck" of traditional volume buying.
  • Plan with Confidence: Access to this detailed stock data allows for more accurate project planning and material quoting.

A Note on Visuals: Photo Requests It’s important to note that our online tool focuses on providing comprehensive data for each board. Images of individual boards will not currently be displayed online as a standard feature.

However, we understand that for certain critical applications, a visual check may be essential. If you identify a specific board through the tool and require a photo, you can submit a request to us. Our team will do their best to provide a photo where feasible, though please understand this may not always be possible if a board is located in a difficult-to-access part of a pack. We'll manage these requests on a case-by-case basis to support your needs.
