Why is sapele good for painted woodwork?

Sapele has a very fine grain texture and once planed only needs a light sanding before you can paint. This makes it ideal for interior painted woodwork like window sills, window frames, window boards. It is also externaly rated so if you have any interior woodwork that may get damp with condensation, this timber is ideal for longevity.
