Cherry
General Description
American Cherry is stocked kiln dried and is used for interior joinery and furniture. Although square-edge is the usual method of import to the U.K., we also have some stocks logsawn boards to achieve a higher ratio of good colour heartwood. Boards have sapwood on each edge which is generally accepted as part of Cherry's natural features. Sapwood is not to be confused with heartwood colour variation which ranges from a light pinkish colour to a darker red shade.
Thicknesses: 26mm, 32mm, 38mm, 52mm, 63mm, 76mm. Widths are random 90mm to approximately 200mm. Lengths are variable above 2.1m.
