Select the most economic boards from packs or logs which will yield the sawn sizes required, or parallel saw the boards to the specified widths, which can then be planed and cross-cut. |

Plane or profile to the finished sizes specified and/or cross-cut to length. Unlike some importers, we will machine 'to order' both small and large quantities. |

Manufacture edge-jointed panels, table/bar tops and kitchen work-surfaces in a choice of timber to the size you want. These have full-length staves i.e. not finger jointed small pieces. We can book-match if required and the products are then sanded 120 grit, before wrapping and despatch. |

We always quote excluding the VAT until we advise the actual payable amount.
Planing and Profiling
We can plane four faces with 4-cutter or 6-cutter up to finished sizes of 115 x 180mm or 90 x 215mm or two faces up to 450mm wide. We can profile mould longer runs by 6-cutter up to 90 x 215mm, or spindle-mould for shorter runs. For improved straightness, hardwoods are pre-straightened on a Wadkin edger up to 6 metres long. We will saw to width and / or crosscut to length and will quote accordingly.
Table & Work Tops
We will manufacture hardwood table-tops, kitchen work-tops etc to specific sizes including 120 grit wide-belt machine-sanded finish. Lams (staves) are parallel-sawn in widths mainly 90-150mm, planed and edge-laminated (edge-glued) sanded and wrapped. We can supply tops in a range of species and sizes. This is in addition to our stock panels of Quebec Yellow Pine and Scandinavian Redwood (Pine) plus European Oak - 19mm x 600mm x 2 metres.
Flexibility
In addition to random specification volume orders, we can supply a selection of the most economic boards to suit your purposes as well as specific species requests. When you order please state your specific needs and we will quote accordingly.
Many customers prefer a total cost (lump sum) quotation for their full requirement. We are happy to comply with this as an alternative to m3 rates being quoted. Prices will normally be effective for seven days, but we can also quote for advanced orders. All quotations are plus VAT.
Grading
The grades of timber stocked are in accordance with the relevant grading authority from the country of origin and the species. For an appropriate premium, we can regrade to suit your pre-defined criteria.
For our supply of 'beams' such as European Oak, either 'green' or from our stocks of seasoned beamstock, we can strength-grade to the TH system.
