Neil Gurman, Operations. has been with the company since 2001 and has a degree in furniture design and construction. He is also qualified as a certified member of the Institute of Wood Science and is a qualified strength grader for temperate hardwoods. This enables him the opportunity to give excellent advice to colleagues and of course customers visiting our premises. Neil’s responsibilities involves assessing each order individually and organising his staff to make sure that all orders are serviced efficiently and effectively. Neil’s ability to carry this out with such ease and effectiveness, as well as his keen work ethic, has had a domino effect on our whole team, creating a much more dynamic unit.
Graeme Muckley, Internal Sales, Advertising. joined Timbersource in May 2012 and had previously worked for an advertising and marketing company based in Stalbridge. Graeme has made an immediate impact, directing our advertising campaign through the right channels, whilst offering our customers a professional approach to sales. Graeme's ability to learn on the job quickly and efficiently enables Timbersource to continue offering the high service that we have become known for.
Sam Hill, Operations. is Neil's right hand man and is second in command in the mill and warehouse. Sam is also a qualified stress grader of oak and softwoods, trained in measuring, grading, sawing and machining (including edge jointing). Sam joined us in April 2006, and has proven to be a valuable asset to Timbersource. Sam is also qualified as a certified member of the Institute of Wood Science.
Stuart J Kemp, Admin. joined the company in February 2007 and has been involved in the timber trade from an early age. From 2001 he was a Manager within a large multi-national organisation and has experience in compeitive business environment and business finance. His professional attitude and polite manner has allowed us to operate outside our normal working parameters. Stuart also has a credit pass from the Institute of Wood Science.
David Knight, external sales. had been a Timber Manager for a merchant operation for over 20 years. As an external rep, he is now able to use his experience to benefit our customers. David develops good relationships with our customers and he is well respected for this. His drive and ambition have increased sales and helped with the cohesion of the sales team.
